Introducing the Robin Hood archery release holster! The goal of the Robin Hood is to have instant access to your handheld release without having to fumble around in a pocket for it. Designed with adjustable retention, the holster retains your gear and works with a number of Carter releases. Simply seat the back end of your release in the “pocket” and rock it forward to lock it in. If it needs some adjustment, grab a 1/8” Allen wrench and turn the screw at the front of the holster. The paddle on the inside will increase or decrease pressure for a perfect fit.
The Robin Hood mounts easily to your belt, bino harness, hunting pack, hip quiver or any Molle webbing with an adjustable left or right hand draw. Choose between vertical or horizontal positioning for maximum convenience and be confident that you won’t lose your release in the woods (again).

I ordered a pack holster from Ivory Holster for a backcountry hunt, but unfortunately it didn’t arrive in time. Because of that, I was forced to use a different holster that I already owned. During the hunt, I came face-to-face with a grizzly bear — a situation where reliable gear is absolutely critical. Thankfully, the holster I had (not from Ivory Holster) worked exactly as designed.
Since the Ivory Holster never arrived before my trip, I can’t speak to its quality or performance in the field. What I can say is that timely delivery is just as important as product design when you’re relying on gear for life-or-death moments in the backcountry. Missing that window meant I couldn’t evaluate the product at all, and more importantly, I couldn’t trust it to be part of my system when it mattered most.
I hope the company takes this feedback seriously, because hunters and outdoorsmen need not only well-designed products but also the confidence that they’ll arrive on time when promised.
Hey Mark,
First off, I want to sincerely thank you for taking the time to share this feedback — and I’m sorry that your holster didn’t arrive in time for your hunt. I understand how critical reliable gear and timing are, especially in situations like the one you described. That sounds like an intense experience, and I’m genuinely glad you came through it safely.
I take full responsibility for the delay and for not meeting your expectations on delivery. Ivory Holsters is a small, family-run shop, handcrafting each holster one at a time and doing my best to balance quality with turnaround time. That said, your feedback is 100% valid. I’ll be sure to update our website more frequently to reflect more accurate wait times so future customers can plan with confidence.
I genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding Mark. I hope you’ll give us another chance down the road to earn your trust out in the field.
All the best,
Gabriel

Fits my stan onnex perfectly!
Fit is awesome. Was quickly able to set up retention.
It is taking me a bit longer to decide where this belongs on my pack/harness setup but that's not their fault that there are so many options
Jeremy,
Thanks for the kind words! I'm glad you like your new holster. I'm confident you'll find the 'sweet spot' for it on your setup. Thanks again,
Gabriel
Incredible way to keep a hand release close by. Super secure and adjustable
Used it for the first time at TAC event this past Friday and love it!!! I have it mounted on my belt with my arrow quiver and no issues with the holster.
Dwight, thanks for taking time to write a review! We're stoked that you like your Robin Hood! And thanks for the photo too!
